Bad Challenge Ideas: The Chipotle Quarter

Recently one of our friends was presented with a challenge-a man said that he would eat a chipotle burrito in less time that our friend could run a quarter mile. With relative ease, our buddy could run under 60 seconds. The world record for downing a Chipotle Chicken Burrito is exactly the same as the 800 meter world record (1:41.09-both records held by this guy).
In what could end up being the least exciting bet of all time, the challenger is almost definitely going to end up with 40% of a burrito in his hand while our friend crosses the finish line. But we don’t like to criticize without making suggestions for improvement. For starters, the run could be made into a half mile, but why stop there? Why not have relay teams of four on the track-each member runs 200 meters, and the burrito is the baton. Whoever finishes the race and the burrito first wins an all expenses paid trip to the nearest Heimlich maneuver.
As always, everyone should be reminded that many Chipotle franchises accept faxed orders and that if you make one you will be the first person in the world ever to do so. You’re also invited to explain the above ad to us.
